With the government support, IHM-SSS runs four day care centers for the children of those women who are employed outside their villages. Children who used to grow up in the secure and warm laps of their grandmothers and aunts are now confronted with an insecure and neglected environment; therefore working women need a safe place for their children in their absence. Our day care centers provide care and protection for the children and encourage women to go out and work.
